| Francisco Delgado "Passion of Art" |
| Francisco Delgado Francisco Delgado is currently studying architecture and my passion is drawing buildings from all over the world, and translate different eras. My goal of my drawings is to translate human condition, societies can often reflect their past through architecture captivate that cell in time, give my very own version of that era. I try to blend emotions into every drawing, represent a lost nostalgic feeling a past civilization, accentuate that symbiotic relationship of human kind and nature and perhaps my ultimate goal is for people who had turbulations and inadequancies can really identify and awake emotions.I wish you can give me a chance for you to take a look my work, the media I mostly work with is pencil HB only and a 8 by 10 inches sketchbook sheet. I believe that the most pure form of art it comes from nature, clouds and trees and when it everything from light to precise buildings can really give anyone a sense of the idea that the piece is trying to rely. I use the same pencil and just a regular sheet since my means always been limited, it does not take a whole lot of money to express your feelings and emotions. I like to bring my ideas and feelings into life, I think that is the interesting part of that work of taking almost nothing [ a simple piece of paper and a simple pencil] and make it into something special. When I paint I feel or draw I free, I feel like there nothing else in this world besides my emotions and the piece of paper, I loose myself completely. The biggest goal I guess would be to reach people and that they can ultimately can connect with my drawings in another level. My drawings represent all my struggles I had in my life, and that light represent the hope that a change could do. The nostalgic feeling that could bring to the person looking at it and the satisfaction of someone liking it. I do not have a specific art hero; althought, I love rembrandt and renoir. I like to think that my work is impressionist, I like how the light blends into the darkness and accentuates the building of part of the landscapes. |
