| Something About Meri Leon Hernandez Meri Leon Hernandez was born in Navarra, Spain and studied Painting and Sculpture at Bellas Artes in Bilbao, Spain and at Bordeaux University in France as part of an exchange program. From 1998 through 2001 she lived in London were she participated in several exhibitions. Since 2001, She has been residing in New York City were she has had several group shows and a solo show. She is currently being represented by David de los Santos in New York. Artist Statement: “Inanimate objects are our first references. This is why we escape from the reaction we suffer.
