| Something About Eric Pelka Eric Pelka's work is influenced by the portrayal of the unexpected feelings that come from our conscious and subconscious minds. A full-time artist, Pelka was born in 1973 in Cleveland, OH. He currently works out of his studio in Brooklyn, NY. A self-taught artist he originally studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1992 when he came to live in New York City. The artist has been a part of group exhibits in Italy, solo exhibits in Japan and New York City, the last one entitled "Lands, ladies, lads & lore”; a multimedia exhibit in collaboration with the New York foundation of The Arts (NYFA) featuring his painting, light box illustrations and musical performance. |
